We Give Back
Giving back to our community is part of our philosophy at IPS. We believe in supporting local non-profits,, like Make-A-Wish MS, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation of Mississippi and Junior Auxiliary of Rankin County, that make other people’s lives better.
This month we are collecting donations of the following individual food items for needy kindergarteners and 1st graders in our county:
Grits and oatmeal packets, mini cereal boxes, pop tarts, pudding or Jello cups
Microwavable soup, rice, vegetables, Chef Boyardee beef ravioli
Granola or cereal bars, cheese crackers, or any individually-wrapped snacks
Bring items to our office by the end of April, and we will donate them to the Junior Auxiliary of Rankin County for distribution to the children.
This past year, IPS helped sponsor the Shelby 5K, the Make-A-Wish golf tournament, and the JDRF One Walk. Our agents and staff hosted reveal parties for Wish Kids and attended non-profits’ major fundraisers, such as the JDRF Gala and Make-A-Wish Derby Soiree. IPS agent Clancy Walker was also named the 2016 GuideOne Foundation My Cause Award winner in Mississippi and received a $5,000 donation for JDRF.
Each member of our staff volunteers within the community from church to schools to non-profits. We believe it is important for our team to volunteer, so we give them time away from the office to work with their favorite community organizations.
We also have opportunities for you to help local non-profits. Each time you refer someone to our agency for a quote, we donate $10 to a non-profit like Make-A-Wish, JDRF or the Junior Auxiliary of Rankin County.
